Augsklei Primer 60
Primer is a material used to prepare the surface before gluing, enhancing the adhesion of substrates like polyvinyl chloride, aluminum, or steel. “Augsklei Primer 60” is specially developed to be used with “Augsklei CG-60” adhesive, ensuring optimal adhesion during lamination. It has an improved composition, reducing consumption by 20-30% compared to competitors. The addition of a fluorescent substance makes it easier to monitor application efficiency under UV light.
Applications:
- Apply primer with felt or a special nozzle after cleaning and drying the profile surface.
- Felt application is preferable, as it forms a moist and fast-drying film, mixes well with the profile material, and dissolves harmful substances during mechanical friction.
- Ensure the felt matches the profile shape, is not worn, and applies primer evenly.
- If production stops, keep the felt in a solvent to prevent drying.
- Periodically clean felt from foreign particles.
- Use IR lamps or hair dryers to dry the primer, heating the profile surface to 40°C – 60°C.
- Activate the surface by contacting it with the glue applied to the film, forming a strong bond.
Packaging: Tin can (25 kg)
Storage Conditions:
- Store primer in a closed original package under cool and dry conditions at room temperature (+5°C to +30°C).
- Protect from direct sunlight.
- Under these conditions, primer can be stored for at least 12 months without affecting its quality.
