Adhesives for Lamination
BARELIT INTERNATIONAL

For PVC, Aluminum Profiles and Window Sills

Lamination of the profile is a process in which a colored decorative film is rolled on a hot plastic or aluminum profile under the influence of temperature and mechanical pressure at a very low speed. The adhesive layer is melting during the application of the film, connects the surface of the film and profile, forming a homogeneous structure.

The lamination profile can be single-side or double-side and produced on special machines using two-component adhesive or glue-melt.

The lamination process takes place in three stages:
1st stage – preparation of the profile. Primer is applied to the profile to improve adhesion;
2nd stage – application of a glue composition to the film;
3rd stage – profile wrapping by a film using the system of rollers and shafts.
